Kurokawa and companyby *LavenderBlade

Here is a quick piece I drew of Kurokawa (center) with Golden Tusk (left) and Demon Devin. Kurokawa is the son of the ruthless swordsman Taketoshi. Kurokawa fiercely hates his father for a multitude of reasons. He has been violently trained in Taketoshi's way of the sword and his code of honor before running off. He was first joined by Demon Devin, a thief, grave robber, and sword fighter. Demon Devin was rejected by her clan and has few friends. Kurokawa is also joined by Golden Tusk, a mountain of a man who was a victim of Taketoshi's savage attacks some years ago. He is noted as a gentle giant to many but a fierce warrior with his commanding size and strength and dual golden studded clubs. Golden Tusk, some fifteen years older then Kuro and Devin is the voice of reason within this small group. Recently, Kurokawa's former girlfriend was blinded and brutally beaten by Taketoshi which has fueled Kurokawa's lust for revenge. He secretly cares for the now defenseless girl while he trains with his two warrior friends. Taketoshi wants to make Kurokawa into a cold, heartless "master" killer worthy enough to inherit his clan, but Kurokawa hates his father's brutal ways and twisted code of honor and logic. Kurokawa knows he could never defeat his father without learning his entire art of the sword. That training has nearly killed him in the past. Kurokawa is seen here with his trademark Ōdachi katana.

Kurokawa and Golden Tusk are a collaborative creation having been submitted to my series by

in 2005 and 2009, respectively. I fully created Demon Devin. These three and Taketoshi are a part of a mini-universe wtihin the greater CM universe.

Thanks alot man! I wanted to better illustrate the size of Kurokawa's mighty sword. These Ōdachi swords are difficult to make because of their length and this sword Kuro was forged from the shattered blades of his grandfather and other noble warriors of his family clan.

Golden Tusk is time consuming to draw but very cool nevertheless. He works well with Kurokawa and Demon Devin. Since Lyn, daughter of Murzim, is blinded and secretly being nursed to better health by Kurokawa I have thought about possible ways of giving her more importance. Taketoshi is eager to find her again and possible kill her to further rattle Kurokawa's soul.
